It was a light week in the Pro Volleyball Federation with only five matches across the league.

Two of those games featured the Orlando Valkyries, who recorded a loss and a win in Week 6, with middle blocker Kaz Brown showcasing her offense in both matches.

Orlando began the week with a hard-fought match against the powerhouse in the standings, the Omaha Supernovas. They took Omaha to five sets (19-25, 25-17, 18-25, 25-18, 6-15) but ran out of steam in the final set.

Brown logged nine kills, two blocks and five touches in the match on Saturday.

But on Monday, when the team bounced back from the loss, is where Brown shined. The Valkyries secured a 3-2 (19-25, 25-20, 23-25, 25-21, 15-12) road victory against the San Diego Mojo.

Brown recorded a season-high 14 kills on 28 attempts and didn’t have a single error. On defense, she contributed a block with seven touches.
